Subsidy cuts begin and I am worried

I asked a friend, what the movement is doing in the city where he is living at the moment. He told me, people are having so much economical problems that they have no time for the movement. Many people have 2 or 3 jobs. Many work with their own cars as a Taxi driver after their regular job is done.

Interesting for me was, that he didn't mention the sanctions at all, he just blamed the Iranian government for the economical problems.

This talk was long before subsidy cuts began. It may cause another form of unrest, an economical perturbation, which may be different to the peaceful protests by the Green Movement. And this is what makes me worry.
